Greek-French School “Oursoulines” in Neo Psychiko

The garden is a vivid example of the Mediterranean nature and is based on the principles of sustainability. Endemic species of the local flora have been selected, that have low requirements as far as maintenance and irrigation is concerned, to promote an example of sustainable urban development.

Its purpose is to bring the children that live in the city closer to insects and greenery that one can easily find in nature. The categories of the plants planted in the school yard are aromatic plants, grasses, perennial shrubs, trees and climbers.
